Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TalentCircuit job board services ("Service"). By using the Service or posting a job you agree to these Terms.

2. Who may use the Service

The Service is available to businesses and recruiters who are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. Individuals under 18 should not post or accept jobs on the Service.

3. Employer obligations and content

Employers represent and warrant that any job postings, company information or materials they submit are accurate, lawful and do not infringe third-party rights. Employers are responsible for candidate data collected through their application process and must comply with applicable data protection laws.

4. License to host content

By posting a job you grant TalentCircuit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute the job posting on the Service for the duration of the posting. You may remove or edit postings via your account; historic copies may remain in logs for audit purposes.

5. Prohibited conduct

• No scraping or automated harvesting of data from the Service.
• No posting unlawful, discriminatory, or abusive content.
• No impersonation or fraudulent use of another party's identity.

6. Fees and payments

If you pay for premium features or posting credits, payment terms and refund policies will be shown at purchase. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

7. Moderation and takedown

We reserve the right to remove or refuse to display any content that violates these Terms or our policies. If you believe content has been removed in error, contact us at privacy@talentcircuit.co.uk.

8. Liability and disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". We make no guarantees about hiring results, uptime or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TalentCircuit's liability is limited to direct damages up to the total fees paid by you in the prior 12 months.

9. Indemnity

Employers agree to indemnify TalentCircuit against claims arising from their job posts, data handling, or violations of these Terms.

10. Data and privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data. By using the Service you agree to the Privacy Policy and consent to processing necessary to provide the Service (including storage of consent records and job postings in AWS services).

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account by contacting support; termination does not remove copies kept for legal or audit purposes.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales unless otherwise agreed.

13. Changes to the terms

We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated to account holders and a "Last updated" date will appear at the top of this page.
