What You'll Do
Launch your career as a IT Support Apprentice with PARTNERSHIP EDUCATION LTD in the UK. Earn while you learn with hands-on training and a nationally recognised qualification.Systems support for schools, nurseries and colleges. Predominately Microsoft networks and site-based working for clients primarily in and around Bedfordshire.
Providing general assistance to the team including workshop repairs and commissioning of equipment, deliveries, documentation, 1st Line support both onsite and remotely. There will a program of working with other members of the team in the field providing Technician days and completing installations. Structured training program in conjunction with Apprenticeship Training.
- Respond to Helpdesk requests
- Help desk calls – taking help desk calls; logging and tracking technical issues
- Hardware and software repairs
- Installation of hardware and software
- Carry out network documentation and reporting
- Assisting with sourcing spare parts and replacement equipment
- Assisting Technical team with maintenance tasks and installs

- Good telephone manner
- Able to work independently in the field
- Reliable, enthusiastic and able to work effectively in a team
- Ability to prioritise workload and deliver solutions to meet customer SLA’s
- Strong customer facing skills, with an awareness of varying client technical skills
- Attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Comfortable around young people in the education environment
Although not essential it would be desirable to have workplace experience in:
- Hardware and Software support
- Customer Service experience
- General office administration and good telephone manner
